Matsu Kï, the newest fragrance in the Matsu Collection, is a radiant fragrance that exudes joy, energy, and youthful vibrance.
The fragrance opens with an invigorating burst of Mandarin Keraji Accord and Bergamot Oil. The opening is complemented by the juicy sweetness of Raspberry and the candied citrus note of Orangette Accord. Then, at its heart, French Orange Blossom mingles with the soothing touch of Lavender Oil. The bright floral notes of Neroli Tunisia Oil with Pink Peppercorn Oil add a subtle sparkle. Finally, the fragrance settles into a warm, sensual base of Orange Blossom Tunisia Absolute, Toasted Caramel, Amberwood, and soft Musk, offering a captivating contrast of radiant brightness and indulgent warmth. The result is a captivating contrast, both modern and warm, between radiant brightness and indulgent sensuality.
“I wanted to create a fragrance suspended between French elegance and Japanese delicacy, where the timeless Orange Blossom is reimagined with refinement and indulgence. To dress up this Orange Blossom, I chose to create a duo of Keraji Mandarin for its natural, sweet, and sparkling side, along with an Orangette Accord for its delicious candied facets. A contrast between vibrancy and warmth that evokes a subtle balance: a fusion of Japanese purity and French depth, creating an addiction that is both gentle and captivating.” – Leonardo Lucheze
With Matsu Kï, Masakï Matsuhïma, and perfumer Leonardo Lucheze bring to life a fragrance that is both radiant and tender, a harmonious balance of citrus brightness and floral softness.
The word “Kï” (気) in Japanese represents spirit, vitality, and the invisible energy that flows through all things. Matsu Kï embodies this essence—an invigorating burst of life, capturing a fresh, uplifting energy. Its floral musky citrus composition, centered around Orange Blossom, blends zesty brightness with delicate florals and a soft, airy warmth, evoking a feeling of lighthearted happiness.
This vibrancy is reflected in the design of the bottle. A smooth, round shape with a frosted finish, cradling the glowing orange-hued fragrance within. The bold orange cap and white lettering create a striking contrast, reflecting the fragrance’s playful yet refined nature.
