Giardini di Toscana is a family-run company with a long-standing tradition. Silvia Martinelli, nez parfumeur of the maison, is the heir to a legacy and passion now in its fourth generation. In 1942, her grandparents Giovan Piero and Emma Ducci opened a shop in Bibbiena, an ancient medieval village in the heart of Tuscany, where they crafted fragrances and ointments. This shop later evolved into an elegant perfumery under the guidance of their daughter, Irma. Silvia has inherited this artisanal knowledge and refined sensitivity, honing her expertise over more than 50 years of hands-on experience and advanced training at prestigious, modern perfumery schools in Italy and France. The brand was initially established as a line of artistic fragrances, intended exclusively for sale in the family boutique. The success achieved with local customers led Giardini di Toscana to evolve from an artisanal label into a fully-fledged brand. Today, it stands as one of the leading names in independent perfumery.
