In the characteristic ratings of poisons, this all-powerful potion certainly takes the indisputable role of prince. Indeed, it is considered one of the most notorious lethal spirits ever known to man: its traces can easily be concealed and, thanks to its deep, rich colour, it is a joy to behold. This reflected in the etymology of its name, which means "ornament" in ancient Persian. Lucrecia, a true mistress of lethal and narcotising potions, would often use it to mould reality to her pleasing and control the minds of her victims. The lethal strategist was never without it and loved to wear it in her exquisite golden ring, which featured a secret compartment specifically designed by artful jewellers to contain the lethal potion, rendering it instantly and constantly available, ready to be used whenever the need might arise. Lucrecia's skill in handling arsenic together with the reputation attained by this mighty potion, inspired famous tragedies through history, from Romeo and Juliet to Madame Bovary. The stylistic inspiration for this creation is the lethal beauty of Arsenico and of the magical ring in which Lucrezia loved to keep it safe. It is like a loyal friend who never leaves your side, or a terrible weapon always ready to be drawn in self-defence or to attack, eager to conquer or to seduce, in the delicate silence of the ethereal world, without a single sound. All in all, its resemblance to the perfume and the effects it has on those who surround the wearer is truly uncanny. The creation opens with a graceful citrusy bouquet heralded by the frothy notes of Calabrian bergamot, before sliding reassuringly into the sweetness of red fruits, such as red currant, of apple and of opulent pineapple. After this sinuous, subtle overture, we are bowled over by an explosion of precious woody notes, including several rare varieties, like Red Patchouli and Cedar of Lebanon balanced by ultra-delicate birch and tonka bean. The whole is embraced by jasmine and benzoin and contrasting artemisia. This fragrance, with its incredible, persistent trail, is so long lasting because it its true strength is founded in Grey Amber, blended with ancient Musk and precious Mosses. A lethal weapon of seduction cotaineded in a drop of perfume.

V Canto is inspired by the most beautiful love story ever written, the love for the authentic origin, for deep roots and for the native land. For over 700 years, in fact, the Terenzi family has lived near the Gradara Castle, one of the most evocative in Italy. Even the Great Dante Alighieri dedicated a canto of his Comedy to this magical place, that of Paolo and Francesca, figures sculpted by immortal verses. Our creations are born from these glimpses and these verses. The Blue Collection contains poetry and medieval history made of passion and love, sins and virtues, vices and humanity. With the Red & Green Collection, the art of Paolo and Tiziana is enriched with new stories inspired by the figure of Lucrezia Borgia, inhabitant and superb queen of the Castle of V Canto. Finally, the Foglie d'Amore Collection, made with the ancient technique of gold and silver leaf, applied by hand to make each bottle a unique and inimitable creation. V Canto: love in all its forms and facets, because with love everything is possible.
