This creation is inspired by the great personality of the Italian artist Agostino di Duccio, also known by the nickname Adux on account of his forceful personality. He was a brilliant and talented pupil of Donatello. He produced many works throughout his career, including the bas-relief decorations for the Tempio Malatestiano cathedral in Rimini, commissioned from him directly by Sigismondo Malatesta. Adux was a complex man and artist, elegant in character but bold and determined, with ideas that were innovative but at the same time respectful of classical harmonies, just like the fragrance that encapsulates his essence, elegance and innovation. In his works, what one appreciates above all is the elegance and weightlessness of the materials, in a suspension from earthly gravity, elevating the sculpture to an ethereal world, as can also be perceived in this creation from the very first aroma. The fragrance opens with a graceful explosion of citrus fruits, where Reggio Calabrian Bergamot echoes imperiously, skilfully embraced by Sicilian Grapefruit and Brazilian Orange, in an acrobatic balance with Apple from the Italian Dolomites. The heart envelops the bubbly head and brings it closer to the powerful base. We detect a strong, wild smell of Italian Grass and Costa Rican Pineapple, with the counterpoint of Cardamom spice from India and the aphrodisiac Patchouli from Singapore. The base of the creation is built on the persuasive notes of Ambergris and Tuscan Oakmoss, emphasised by Italian Birch and by Musk, which amplifies its reverberation, enhanced by the elegant strength of Cambodian Oud. Adux is an elegant, suspended fragrance for those who love to challenge the convention of tradition, exploring new harmonies and acrobatic balances of seduction.
